Fortunate indeed are we, in these testing times of so-called gurus and despicable businesses
going around under the garb of spirituality, to have with us a person of sterling spiritual character,
stainless integrity and yet most approachable and loving Master for aspirants, Swami Vidyananda.
For over four decades, he has consciously remained away from limelight, public adorations and
the like, immersed in his mission of creating good human beings from the animal beings that we are
currently and from there, goading them on towards the spiritual ideal.

His words are never laced with false promises or allures; intense Sadhana with the foundation of
Surrender unto the Divine are the two torch lights he shows to us befuddled and lost wayfarers.
What is of greatest wonder and charm to us aspirants is that he is a Sadhaka, supremely sincere,
utterly tenacious and uncompromising before the Divine Will. One might be tempted and one is
justified if one doubtingly ponders how a ‘Swami’ can still be a Sadhaka. Rare indeed and only a
handful if at all, are such giant persons upon Earth today, who after a successful Realisation of
the Ultimate Truth, march further ahead to spiritual domains unheard of , unexperienced heretofore.
The spiritual history so far has been one of self mastery i.e. establishing oneself firmly in the
Ultimate Truth and that was it, nothing higher was known to be achieved.

This Knowledge barrier was broken by Sri Aurobindo and Mother. They discovered a hitherto
unknown field of Perfection, the SuperMind, the executive directrix of Sacchindananda. They
maintained that enough is enough of the few and far individual attainments to the Supreme. How is
the enormous common lot to unload the mountain of ‘prarabdha’ on their backs to get but a glimpse
of the Truth, it shall be impossible for them except for Divine intervention. SuperMind is the secret
weapon existing, which has the capacity and the proven promise of Sri Aurobindo-Mother to lift up
the very Gross-laden Earth Consciousness to lofty spiritual heights, transform the heretofore
‘MrityuLoka’ to ‘AmritLoka’, as it were.

For this, an aspirant needs the highest renunciation, one of casting away the supreme allurement of
merging into Sacchidananda, and remain as it’s potent executive, for the Divine purpose of upliftment
of all Earthly beings from their present state of slumber towards Light. Self-realisation shall only be a
station in this new journey, the task now is to bring down the very Divine in all His Glory into the
bosom of Mother Earth.

All this may sound like fiction, because things unheard of appear like hogwash. One can easily estimate
from the above, the stature of such a Sadhaka; Swami Vidyananda is steadily and sincerely carving
his way towards SuperMind. His words are utterly simple yet nectarine, their source, the Divine direct.
He takes you from where you stand, and step by step, his Life Mission is to take one and all, from
Animal Man to Manly Man, then to Godly Man and from there, the final leap to SuperMan,
however long it may take.
